The Culture in the Regions Axis is collaborating on a pilot project currently underway in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Led by a group of accredited museum institutions in Quebec and under the scientific direction of Philippe Dubé (Université Laval), the project draws inspiration from Danish and Norwegian models to rethink the management of small and mid-sized regional museums.
The goal is to establish a new operating model based on cooperation, resource sharing, and solidarity among museums, heritage sites, and parks. The development of this new organizational model will unfold in three phases: Exploration, Development, and Implementation.
