Creative Economy, Well-Being, and Territory, Special Issue
The journal Culture and Local Governance / Culture et gouvernance locale (CGL), in collaboration with CREAT, has released a special issue entitled Creative “Economy, Well-Being, and Territory”.
This issue explores the dynamic links between the creative economy, well-being, and territory. It highlights how creative activities — whether artistic, cultural, digital, or community-based — contribute to the development of individual and collective well-being, while being rooted in specific territorial contexts, whether geographic, social, or virtual.
Through original contributions, this special issue offers a reflection on the tripartite relationship between creativity, quality of life, and territorial anchoring. The collected articles demonstrate how the creative economy can actively contribute to community vitality, identity-building, and the search for solutions to contemporary challenges.
Culture and Local Governance / Culture et gouvernance locale provides an interdisciplinary space for dialogue on the relationships between culture and local governance and publishes peer-reviewed scholarship through a double-blind review process.
The special issue is now available in open access.
