Workshop — Musique Immigration : ressources et professionnalisation
As part of the Musique Immigration project, a collaborative action-research initiative led by CREAT collaborator Caroline Marcoux-Gendron (UQAM/HEC Montréal), a professional development workshop will be offered at the Festival Accès Asie. This project focuses on the professionalization challenges faced by musicians who immigrate to Quebec.
Following an initial research phase that led to the creation of the musique-immigration.ca resource directory, the team is continuing its outreach efforts by engaging with artistic communities to promote this digital tool. This activity is part of a series of initiatives carried out this spring by the Musique Immigration team, with the support of several partners, including the CREAT Chair and its Discoverability Axis.
