Immersive Lectures: Exploring Knowledge in Fulldome Format

On June 12, 2026, the event “Immersive Lectures: Exploring Knowledge in Fulldome Format” took place. Organized by the Chantier Cartography during the Hexagram 2026 Interdisciplinary Encounter, the event brought together 17 researchers and students from a wide range of disciplines, including Yan Breuleux (NAD-UQAC), a CREAT co-researcher.

After several weeks of preparation by a team of faculty members and students from the Hexagram network, participants presented their projects to an audience of approximately 40 researchers gathered inside the dome at the Society for arts and technology (SAT). The initiative explored how the Fulldome format can transform knowledge mobilization by offering new ways to present research findings and make them accessible to a wide range of audiences.
