From Virtual to Real: Digital Art in Service of the Human–Plant Relationship

As part of MTL Connecte 2025, Olivier Beauchet, holder of the Arts and Health axis, presents a workshop exploring how art, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence can transform our connection to the living world. Inspired by the notions of resonance and eco-emotions, the activity highlights two research-creation projects that use the sonification of plant signals to create new dialogues between humans, plants, and territories.

The workshop is complemented by a participatory discussion on ways to deepen our sensitive relationship through digital technologies.

Thursday, October 30 2025, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
