Code ZPP

The project “Code ZPP” (Zone à psychogéographier en priorité) is a text-based narrative role-playing game centered on an urban utopia experience, created by Hugo Veillé, a CREAT scholarship recipient, under the supervision of Maude Bonenfant, Professor at UQAM and member of the CREAT Research Chair.

Code ZPP
In a dystopian world built around teleportation, the teleportation network has suddenly ceased to function. You play as a former network technician determined to solve the breakdown.

As you explore a radically transformed urban space (socially, politically, and spatially), you encounter strange urban events. What initially appeared to be a simple technological failure gradually becomes a quest for personal meaning, a metaphysical investigation, and a utopian reinvention of society.

You navigate a shifting and uncanny city, engaging in dialogue with its inhabitants and its spaces, developing your skills in communication and spatial perception, and discovering urban space—and the future of humanity—from a new perspective.

This game draws inspiration from Situationist theories and practices related to urbanism.
