“Kit graphique, Volume II”: Eight Graphic Design Workshops for Young People
Valérie Yobé, a co-researcher with the Chaire CREAT and a professor at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), and Catherine Nadon, also a professor at UQO, have published “Kit graphique, Volume II”, the result of a research-creation project.
Designed for teachers, artists, cultural mediators and anyone guiding young people through a social design process, the book offers eight workshops that foster self-expression, critical thinking, collaboration and civic engagement through graphic design. Flexible and adaptable to a range of educational, cultural and community settings, the workshops include theoretical perspectives, artistic references, teaching resources and visual examples.
The book also features contributions from Natalia Volpe, Dugudus (Régis Léger) and Charles-Antoine Bachand.
