École d’été 2026 – Arts, Culture, Société et Santé

At a time when artificial intelligence is emerging as a technological, economic, and symbolic horizon in our societies, it seems necessary to ask a fundamental question: What if the major challenge were not only to develop intelligent machines, but also to better understand and cultivate our artistic intelligence?

The expression artistic intelligence may seem surprising. It does not refer simply to creative talent or to an aesthetic skill reserved for artists. Artistic intelligence points to a deeply human capacity: the ability to perceive, connect, transform, and create meaning through sensory experience. It engages imagination, emotion, the body, memory, and our relationships with living systems and with others. It is a situated, embodied, and relational form of intelligence—one that does not calculate, but resonates.

In a context shaped by technological acceleration, ecological upheaval, psychological fragilities, and profound social transformations, this form of intelligence becomes an essential resource.

The Summer School 2026, taking place from August 24 to 28, 2026, proposes a five-day program, each day exploring a specific dimension of artistic intelligence at the intersection of art, culture, society, and health.
