DON GIOVANNI IN DIALOGUE – STUDY DAYS

On December 1 and 2, 2025, the interdisciplinary study days “Don Giovanni en Dialogue” were held.

Bringing together researchers, artists, and opera professionals, the event fostered a rich dialogue between musicology, philosophy, stage direction, and operatic practice, with the aim of revisiting the aesthetic, political, and contemporary issues raised by Mozart’s masterpiece. Among the participants were Olivier Beauchet, Co-Header of the CREAT Research Chair, as well as Pierre Vachon from the Opéra de Montréal, illustrating the strength of collaborations between the research community and professional practice.
