Ludodrome 2026: Celebrating Montreal’s Experimental Game Creativity
The CREAT Chair is pleased to partner with Ludodrome for its upcoming edition, a free event celebrating the richness of Montreal’s experimental game scene.
On September 12, 2026, the Agora at UQAM’s Cœur des sciences will host 59 experimental games by creators from Quebec. The games will be on display from noon to 11 p.m., giving visitors the opportunity to discover and play these interactive works throughout the day. The evening will continue in a festive atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for conversation and connection.

At the intersection of research-creation, digital art, and video games, Ludodrome showcases projects that push the boundaries of game design and the video game medium. Building on the success of the 2025 edition, the event fosters connections between creators, researchers, students, and the general public, while showcasing Montreal’s vibrant creative community.
