Théâtre Aux Écuries (TAÉ) is a Montréal-based theatre organization that identified a significant issue within the cultural sector, particularly in the theatre field: organizations in this area are generally small in size and operate with limited resources. As a result, access to specialized services within the theatre sector or in other sectors (e.g., accounting, legal services, etc.) is difficult for these organizations.
In response to this important challenge, TAÉ established a Service Centre that enables theatre organizations to access specialized resources at a flexible rate based on their level of public funding. TAÉ has been able to assess the financial impacts of this initiative; however, beyond these financial outcomes, the project represents a social innovation with positive qualitative benefits and broader social impacts on Quebec’s theatre sector.
The overall objective of this project is to support TAÉ in identifying and measuring the non-financial impacts of its Service Centre.
